I picked up a Gerrard Phillipe watch the other day, but have found very little info on the brand. I saw one post online where the poster thought they were a small French watch manufacturer

that's been long out of business.......but that's all I found. It uses an ETA 2789 automatic movement and runs great. I like the chunkier integrated bracelet types, and this one is interesting. If anyone knows anything about this manufacturer I'd love to hear it.

thanks,
bob

Curious to see the case back. Thanks. Oh, also, the bracelet clasp too. Watch has that classic 70s integrated bracelet/case look.

Never heard of the brand but the movement is an excellent one.

Hi Guys,

Here's some more pics. The clasp is plain stainless unsigned. The crown is unsigned. The only markings on the bracelet are what you see in the pic saying "Stainless Steel". Nothing else other than the arrows showing which way to disassemble links. The case back says "Stainless Steel, Swiss Made, 2135, Water Resistant, Shock Resistant, Automatic". Excuse the dirt, I haven't had a chance to clean her up yet!

;O)

Thanks for posting more pics, was just curious if the case back was more than the generic that it turned out to be. Yeah, just one of the many off-brand Swiss watches that started springing up in the 60s and onward. But, nothing wrong with that--sometimes you find a hidden treasure, or just a nice-enough beater watch at a cheap price.
