Nope! Lots of room between each link.Scissors-style Seiko band but it's not a stretch band, so it's not a hair-puller @wvclockdoc

Looks quite comfy. This XAB 271 bracelet on my GS 6156-8010 is the second finest Seiko bracelet I have ever seen and one of the rarest ever manufactured by Seiko. The comfort, quality, and finishing are otherworldly.

It certainly is! I love wearing this watch.Looks quite comfy.
Thanks for following through and posting multiple pics. Because now I can see how rare that bracelet must be. Great looking piece! When I saw the original wrist-shot, I thought "Hmm, that bracelet looks kinda familiar..." Seiko has never made anything like this. To make matters worse, they never reused this bracelet on any other model. In my opinion, the 6156-80XX on bracelet is one of the finest watches Seiko ever made. Thanks for following through and posting multiple pics. Because now I can see how rare that bracelet must be. Yeah, that is one fine lookin watch. You know what I was getting at, as far as seeing just that very first wrist shot and being reminded of a similar, but in reality quite different, Seiko bracelet.Seiko has never made anything like this. I will be adding more bracelet and angle shots of the other high end Grand Seiko and King Seiko pieces I own so folks can see for themselves that 1) the bracelet design of a watch is every bit as important as the watch case. It’s basically an extension of the watch. And 2) Seiko is on par or exceeds its Swiss competitors of its time period.Yeah, that is one fine lookin watch. SF, you should do a tutorial on proper watch photography.I will be adding more bracelet and angle shots of the other high end Grand Seiko and King Seiko pieces I own so folks can see for themselves that 1) the bracelet design of a watch is every bit as important as the watch case.
