Did you get the Government major incident alert test on your mobile phone yesterday ?
I didn't.
The powers that be must have thought, '' That old bas*ard's not worth saving ''
What's that then?

I don't watch entertainment, shows etc. I just have no interest in them. I also try to limit news to just what impacts me directly. This is becoming increasingly impossible if you have a mobile, news, if that's what it is. Is forced down your throat as soon as you log on.
That’s very hermetic..🙂

I’m not exactly a contemporary culture fan either, but you potentially miss out on a lot if you cut yourself off completely. There’s actually a lot of very thought provoking and well-produced drama on the streaming services these days, I guess because they have the commercial bandwidth to cater for minority as well as majority tastes. The problem is finding it amongst the huge quantities of trash..

Sounds ridiculous but I don't have the time generally to sit for long. Several reasons medical and work. When and if I can relax I put music on and have a glass of wine or two. We spend most evenings talking over what needs to happen tomorrow
Medical...well the hell of rls, 😠

I spent a fortune on hifi, far more than on watches. My current system is a pair of horn speakers, 2a3 valve monoblocks. Passive pre. All redundant untill I've finished renovation work.

Same thing here .

I’ve spent over 4K just on hardware samplers alone for my studio, couple that with monitors, amps and EQ systems, turntables etcetera and all the musical instruments I've collected through the years and it amounts to an outlaying of quite a lot of cash over time.

Well, you won't see Tucker Carlson or Don Lemon wearing a watch on TV for a while...
I know Tucker Carlson sports a two-toned Buckley Datejust as his daily. I don’t remember Don Lemon wearing a watch.

Yeah, no idea. But I do know-- and being even-handed here-- one less Righty and one less Lefty spouting off a bunch of S**T for the sake of ratings! :ROFLMAO:

I don’t want to get political here, but I’m a huge fan of one and loathe the other. So, it was a day of (very) mixed feelings for me.

@Carter response to your question abot post #13.
The guy is a guest on the Greg Gutfeld show. Former special forces former NY cop. Presently a comedian but i dont know his name. One complaint is when greg introduces his guest they don’t put their name on the screen and my hearing isn’t the best.
